As I stated in my earlier post that Android is an OS designed and bought by Google. The first smart phone which runs on Android platform, HTC Dream, was released on June 2009. This smartphone runnig OS Android version v 1.6 (Donut). According to the key features and the released dates of the Android OS updates are listed chronological by their application programming interface (API) level. Android OS v1.6 (Donut) its API level is 4.
Till 31st October 2013 Android have launched Android OS v 4.4 KitKat and the API level of this OS is 19.
